The reel hook library
A reel has about one second to stop the thumb. Great reels stack hooks in layers — what people see, read and hear — then hold them with retention tricks and close with a payoff. Here is every hook Jiju Studio can build into your reel, and why each one works.
The 3-layer hook, in one line
Visual (what they see: fast motion, an open loop, a reveal) + Text (5–8 bold words at the top for muted viewers) + Audio (a first line under 10 words, a sound cue). In Jiju Studio you tick the hooks you want and every tick changes the script, the animation or the sound — nothing is decorative.
Example: the open loop — an object crawls toward a target with a countdown that turns red, and only hits at the very end. Viewers stay because the brain needs to see the impact.
Hook stacks: when every layer hits together
One hook stops a thumb. A stack stops it harder: the text slam, the sound and the motion all land on the exact frame of the first spoken word, and all three say the same idea — read, heard and seen at once.
The Bullet (open loop)
A bullet crawls to your logo-can with a red countdown; ticking under the voice; 'Result end mein dekhna 👀' on top; it finally hits at the end.
Curiosity gap + Wait for it… + Open loop: bullet → target + Self-aware timer + Clock ticking + Impact hit + Best for last + Loop payoff + Comment keyword → DM
Pattern Break
Glitch + record scratch at frame 1, 'STOP ✋' slams on top as the voice says a bold opposite opinion, boom on the sticker.
Contrarian / pattern break + First line under 10 words + Stop doing this + Glitch / shake + Punch zoom + flash + Record scratch + Impact hit + Mid re-hook + Question to comment
Skill Check
'Bet you didn't know this 😏' + a red ✗ on the old way, a ping, and a voice that challenges how they use AI today.
Skill-gap challenge + Test yourself + Challenge + Red ✗ stamp + Notification ping + Impact hit + Best for last + Comment keyword → DM + Save for later
Secret Reveal
The hook starts blurred with a big '?', a riser builds, it snaps sharp exactly on the first word: 'Sirf 1% log ye jaante hain'.
What nobody tells you + Curiosity gap + Only 1% know + Blur → reveal + Riser into first word + Music drop + Best for last + Save for later + Send to a friend
Countdown List
3-2-1 with a ping on each number, silence, then the beat and the voice drop together on a number list.
Number list + Number + 3-2-1 countdown + Notification ping + Music drop + Best for last + Fast pace + Save for later + Send to a friend
Career Alarm
Punch zoom + flash, 'Tum AI galat use kar rahe ho?' on top, boom, and a career-stakes line that makes learners lean in.

Career stakes
Ties the topic to jobs and income, the strongest motivator for learners.
“Companies ab interview mein ye AI skill check kar rahi hain. Tumhe aati hai?”

“Tumhara AI output generic kyun aata hai? Wajah ek hai.”
What nobody tells you
