How Jiju Studio makes a reel
Five steps, about ten minutes of your time, and most of that is deciding what the reel should say.
In short: you paste a source (an Instagram reel link, a video file or a website), write one or two lines about the angle, and Jiju Studio does the rest — script, voice-over, screen captures, edit and captions. You review it, ask for changes in chat, and download or publish.
1. Paste the reel link
Copy the link of an Instagram reel — from the ⋯ menu, choose Copy link — and paste it into the studio. Press Next and the reel is downloaded to the studio server. You see a preview and the original caption, so you can confirm it's the right video before anything costs money.
Only import reels you made or have permission to reuse. Private, deleted or login-only reels can't be fetched; upload the file instead. No video at all? Skip this step and use a website link.
2. Tell it the angle
The notes box is where the reel gets its point of view. Good notes are short and specific:
- the tool's real website or GitHub repo, so the studio can capture it;
- the one thing viewers should remember — “it's free and open source”, “setup is one command”;
- anything to avoid — a wrong price, a competitor's name, a feature that's still in beta.
If you run a daily series, set the series day; it goes into the hook and the captions.
3. Let the studio build it
The progress bar walks through each step. You can close the page; it keeps working.
- Analyse the source — AI watches the video or reads the page and pulls out the facts.
- Write the script and captions — short Hinglish lines for each shot, plus Instagram, Facebook and YouTube copy.
- Capture the website — real screenshots of the tool, with the camera and marker on the part each line talks about.
- Record the voice — in the AI narrator voice or your cloned voice.
- Check pronunciation — an automatic listener flags missing or slurred words.
- Render — the template is animated to the voice timing and mixed with music.
Each finished step is saved. If anything fails, Resume picks up at the failed step instead of starting again.
4. Tweak it in chat
Watch the reel and type what you'd change, the way you'd tell an editor: “hook should mention it's free”, “line 4 is too long”, “re-record the voice, same script”. On-screen text changes re-render only; script changes re-record the voice. Each change becomes a new version, and old versions stay.
5. Download or publish
Download the MP4 and copy the caption for each platform, or publish straight to a connected YouTube channel — now or at a scheduled time. Instagram and Facebook publishing from the studio is waiting on Meta's app review.
Questions people ask
How long does one reel take to make?
Usually a few minutes from start to a playable video. Analysing the source, writing the script, capturing the website, recording the voice and rendering all run automatically; you can close the page while it works.
Why did a reel link fail to import?
Private accounts, deleted reels, age-restricted posts and links that need a login cannot be downloaded. Check that the reel opens in a private browser window without logging in. You can always upload the video file directly instead.
Do I need a source video at all?
No. You can give just a link to a tool's website or GitHub repo plus a few notes, and the studio will read the page, pick the key facts and build the reel from screen captures.
What happens if a step fails halfway?
The studio saves each finished step. Press Resume and it continues from the step that stopped instead of starting over, so you don't pay twice for analysis, script or voice work that already finished.
What do I get at the end?
An MP4 at 1080×1920, 30 fps, with music ducked under the voice, plus a separate caption for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts (title, description and tags) and a pinned-comment line with source links. You can download everything.
